Awarded a BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine Best Buy for best budget gloves, these tough gloves are made using textured latex for great protection against thorns. Available in both men and women’s sizes they can be recycled when they finally wear out.
What are the Verve Nylon Gardening Gloves like?
These gloves feature a generously-sized elasticated cuff so they’re easy to get on and off, but as they’re made from textured latex, the palm isn’t a snug fit. While the latex is waterproof, we found that moisture can seep in through the fabric on the back. Great for cold and wet weather, they aren’t lined, so you might need extra protection in harsh winter months.
Will the Verve Nylon Gardening Gloves last?
The latex material is strong and snag-proof and though the cuff fabric won’t be as strong as leather or suede, it’s still robust and we feel these gloves are made to last. And, of course, once you need to replace them they can be recycled rather than thrown in the bin.
Are the Verve Nylon Gardening Gloves good value for money?
Given the price, these tough, durable gloves represent excellent value for money.
Who are the Verve Gardening Gloves most useful for?
Ideal for tackling tough garden jobs in all weathers, they are available in men and women’s sizes, ranging from small, medium and large.
