These high-quality secateurs have a hardened steel blade with a metal anvil, which can be unscrewed and adjusted if needed. The cutting width is wide at 25mm and these secateurs cut even thick, tough stems and branches smoothly and with ease.
The metal handles have a plastic non-slip grip but even though there is no comfort or padding grip provided these secateurs cut so easily there’s no strain on the hands and wrist at all. The safety catch is positioned on the front of the secateurs so it can only be reached when they are held in the right hand. We found it stiff to move and it needed loosening otherwise it took two hands to open and close.
They feel strong and sturdy and all parts of these secateurs are replaceable. Felco even offer an easy maintenance and repair service for an extra cost.
