What are the Draper Deluxe Anvil secateurs like to use?

With an SK5 high carbon steel blade these simple secateurs cut thicker, difficult stems and branches well. The plastic anvil is adjustable and they have a wide cutting width of 25mm, which also makes them easy to sharpen and clean.
The metal handles have comfortable rubber grip inserts. They feel very sturdy and robust but they are large and they feel quite heavy in the hand. The safety catch is on the front and needs two hands to engage on and off and can only be reached if these are used in the right hand.

Are the Draper Deluxe Anvil secateurs good value for money?

These strong, powerful secateurs are the cheapest in our test. There are no replacement parts available but they cut well, come with a lifetime warranty and we think they are excellent value for money.

Who are the Draper Deluxe Anvil secateurs most useful for?

Only for right-handed gardeners, these large, weighty secateurs are also best for those with bigger hands.
