These are sturdy, well-made pruners with comfortable, rubber coated handles that feel good in the hand, although they're a little heavy. The SK5 carbon steel blades are coated to stop them getting stuck together. The bottom blade has two cutting zones for different size wood, which works well. The central safety catch is stiff at first and tricky for some and has a very wide opening - even bigger hands struggle when they spring open. They have a cutting diameter of 25mm and feel strong and robust. They have no replaceable parts.
