What are the main features of the Yard Force LW C02 Aquajet Cordless Pressure Cleaner?
With a compact design that makes it truly portable, this is ideal for a range of domestic tasks. In addition to being cordless, it’s also self priming, which means it draws water from a bucket, pool or river rather than the mains supply and it comes with a water inlet filter to prevent debris clogging up the system if you are using a natural water source. The multi-spray nozzle features three settings – Jet, for a wide fan shaped spray, Low pressure, for a lighter clean and Turbo, for a higher pressure spiral spray and it has a six metre long hose. It operates at 22 Bar pressure, which delivers a flow rate of 160 litres per hour, which is more than the WORX models and an Eco Mode allows you to quickly switch to using less water and power for a lighter clean and to help conserve battery life. We love that the battery light indicator shows the percentage levels remaining while you work. It uses a 20V 2.5Ah li-ion battery, which can be used across the other power tools in the Yard Force cordless range, and it comes with a three year warranty.
What’s the Yard Force LW C02 Aquajet Cordless Pressure Cleaner like to use?
This pressure cleaner requires basic assembly – just attach the nozzle and the hose to the lance and it’s ready to use. Depending on the task, you can choose the Eco setting, or leave it to deliver the standard water flow and pressure, and it’s just a case of twisting the nozzle to pick which type of spray you want. We really love that you can also adjust the angle of the handle, so it’s comfortable to operate, a feature the WORX pressure cleaners lack. In terms of accessories, everything you need to get started is included with this model — a foldable 10L water bucket, soap bottle and brush — and, as with both the WORX pressure cleaners we tested, you also have the option to hook up this pressure washer to your garden hose and mains tap. Although it only gives a 20 minute run time, it has a fast one-hour battery charge, so it’s still possible to do larger tasks if you’re prepared to charge it several times.
What situations is the Yard Force LW C02 Aquajet Cordless Pressure Cleaner most suitable for?
The adjustable handle on this pressure cleaner makes it useful if you have mobility issues and the fast charge also helps if you don’t like to plan ahead. Although it has a slightly shorter runtime than the WORX pressure cleaners we tested, it’s still ideal for those who don’t have an outside tap or a long enough hose, to water the garden or wash the car, patio and other light tasks as well as taking on trips for cleaning on the go.
Is the Yard Force LW C02 Aquajet Cordless Pressure Cleaner good value for money?
This pressure cleaner falls between the price of the two WORX pressure cleaners we tested, and this, in addition to all the accessories and features it comes with, as well as the three year warranty, make it a BBC Gardeners' World Magazine Best Value Buy winner.
