What are the main features of the Karcher K3 Home pressure washer?
The Karcher K3 has a 1600w engine, a water flow rate of 380 litres per hour and delivers 120 Bar of pressure. It has wheels and two handles, including one on the front, which make it easy to lift and move around as does its weight. It has a six metre hose and comes with both a variable spray lance and a dirt blaster spray plus it has an extension lance so there's no need to bend over as you work and put strain on your back. The body of the washer has an integrated detergent tank and onboard storage for the cable, hose and lances plus a patio cleaner and a sample of patio and deck cleaner are included.
What’s the Karcher K3 Home pressure washer like to use?
This needed the most assembly of all the pressure washers in our test - the wheels, handles and onboard storage all need attaching with a screwdriver. This takes about 10 - 15 minutes but there are clear instructions showing what you need to do. Once built, it’s simple to use with easy, click-on and -off nozzles and lances and the trigger handle is comfortable and doesn’t vibrate in the hand. It cleans quickly and with power and the patio cleaner is far and away the best in our test, scrubbing clean neglected paving in one pass without spraying grime and filthy water everywhere. It's noisier than other patio cleaners as unlike those it doesn’t have bristles, but it’s worth it for the cleaning power. It's also by far the lightest washer we tested in this price bracket but this does make it feel less sturdy compared to the other, higher priced washers in our test.
What situations is the Karcher K3 Home pressure washer most suitable for?
The patio cleaner attachment makes this pressure washer the ideal choice for quickly blasting clean paths, patios and other surfaces in smaller gardens but the nozzles will also tackle bikes and cars as well as garden furniture and decking.
