What is the Cobra BV26C Blower Vac like?
This petrol powered blower vac blows leaves, grass and twigs, vacuums them up and shreds them into a large 45-litre collecting bag. We’ve classed it as single use assembly, which means the individual attachments need changing for it to switch from blower to vacuum mode. It comes with a shoulder strap.
What is the Cobra BV26C Blower Vac like to use?
This is fast to set up but the twist-tube fittings are quite stiff and the attachments need extra tools to change, so it can be fiddly to swap between modes. Once assembled it’s comfortable to hold and well balanced in both operation modes and it does both jobs quickly and efficiently. It has no adjustable speed settings so it can be hard to blow leaves where you want them to go, but the up side is that the vacuum power is strong. It also shreds well with a shredding ratio of 10:1 and produces consistent output, suitable for use as compost, leaf mould and mulch. Overall it gives a good performance but it’s quite noisy, so ear defenders are recommended.
Who is the Cobra BV26C Blower Vac most useful for?
This is makes quick work of both jobs so is recommended for larger gardens with lots of leaf fall. The noise may be an issue for close neighbours and in urban areas.
Is the Cobra BV26C Blower Vac good value for money?
For a petrol model this is a very good price. It’s a great worker overall and comes with a two-year warranty, so we think it’s great value for money.
