What are the main features of the Bosch Universal Aquatak 135 pressure washer?
This powerful pressure washer has a 1900w engine, a water flow rate of 410 litres per hour and it delivers 135 Bar of pressure. It comes with a useful seven metres of hose, the longest in our test and has sturdy wheels and two handles, including one on the front, which make it easy to lift and move it around. It’s not heavy but it feels sturdy and it's stable in use, thanks to the feet at the front of the washer which keep it standing firmly on the ground. The upright handle folds down over the body of the washer, clicking neatly into place so it takes up less room in the shed or garage and there’s also on-board storage for the cable, lance and foam sprayer so you can keep everything together in one place.
The Aquatak 135 has just one nozzle, but this has three, easy to adjust sprays - pencil, jet and fan plus it comes with a detergent foam sprayer. Other accessories, such as a wash brush and patio cleaner are also available to buy, as is a self-priming kit, so you can use this washer with water fed from a water butt or tank, not just a tap.
What’s the Bosch Universal Aquatak 135 pressure washer like to use?
Some simple assembly of the Aquatak 135 is needed, but the instructions are clearly displayed on the box and parts just click into place. The washer feels strong and robust but it’s still comfortable to use with no vibrations and a comparatively quiet engine. The single lance and nozzle is a refreshing alternative to undoing and replacing nozzles every time you change job. When you need a change of spray you just twist and click and each one delivers powerful, effective cleaning.
This is a well thought out piece of kit; the long cable gives you that extra bit of reach if you need it and the carry handle on the front makes it really easy to lift this up steps or onto a shelf.
