What are the Hunter Original Tall Wellington Boots like?
These classic boots hail from the well-known, long standing Scottish firm and have become a fashion statement in their own right. But these are great wellies too. Handmade from matte, vulcanised rubber with a slight heel, they have the Hunter tread on the sole and a polyester lining. Available in sizes 6-12, for both men and women, they come in a wide range of colours from classic green to pink.
Are the Hunter Original Tall Wellington Boots comfortable?
With an adjustable calf strap to help them fit different size legs these boots are true to size and easy to get on off, with a small kick spur on the back. They don’t rub when you’re walking and feel comfortable and flexible with a good supportive sole that allows you to wear them for long periods of time with ease.
They feel breathable and aren’t sweaty but they’re not particularly warm in the winter. However, Hunter do make their own boot socks, designed to be worn with their boots and these fold over the top to also prevent the boots rubbing against your calf.
Some testers weren’t keen on the heel but others found the arched design helped to anchor feet and increased support.
