Ride-on mowers - Buyer's Guide part two
Watch the second part of our video Buyer's Guide to ride-on mowers
In part two of our Buyer's Guide to ride-on mowers, we look at efficient use of your machine, as well as cleaning and storage.
Topics covered include noise levels, manual vs. hydrostatic transmission and tyre quality. We also cover manoeuvrability, the size of the turning circle and the benefit of four-wheel drive.
An important consideration is whether to go for a mower that collects the clippings, one that lets them fly or a model with both options. We run through the choices and also look at mowers with side ejection and mulching functions.
Then, we explain the importance of choosing the right size of grass collector for your lawn and examine the various mechanisms for emptying the box.
Finally, we cover the importance of your post-mowing regime, looking at cleaning, parking and storage of your machine.
Watch now to discover how to choose the best ride-on mower for your needs.
