It has a push button start powered by a lithium ion battery, which will power over 50 starts on a full charge and it has a charge level indicator so you know when it's running low and needs charging. the battery also acts as a good safety feature – remove the battery when the mower's not in use and it will stop children, or anyone else, accidentally starting the mower. The push button start on this mower is very welcome and means the end of struggling with a pull cord to get things moving. The plastic roller also adds weight and stability to the mower helping you get right over the edge of borders for a neat cut. It’s also easy to use and adjust the speed as well as the height of cut. Only the collection bag feels a bit small, especially compared to the other mowers in the test.
