What’s the Kent & Stowe Long Handled bulb planter like?
Traditionally styled, with a long, 95cm FSC ash handle and shaft and a polished stainless-steel head this long handled planter has lots of extra features. The wide head has depth markings to 10cm, a serrated end and wide foot treads.
What’s the Kent & Stowe Long Handled bulb planter like to use?
The combination of foot treads and a serrated end help this planter glide smoothly into the soil and the polished steel is both rust and soil resistant so there’s no problem with soil sticking and clogging the head. The shaped handle sits comfortably and allows you to apply pressure with ease and to remove the soil core you can either knock it out back over the bulb or make a new hole, which will push the soil in the head out. This can then simply be dropped back into the first hole.
Who’s the Kent & Stowe Long Handled bulb planter most useful for?
This is ideal for anyone who has lots of bulb planting to do and is particularly suited to quick, repetitive planting such as naturalising large sweeps of bulbs in a lawn.
Is the Kent & Stowe Long Handled bulb planter good value for money?
This is not a cheap piece of kit but a specialist tool that sits in the same price range as a good spade or fork. It is well made and stylish looking and does the job well. It comes with a 15 year warranty and we think it’s good value for money.
