This weeder has a long, soft plastic handle with inbuilt grip and a hanging hole on the end for easy storage. The blade is stainless steel which tapers gently towards the tip and has one bevelled side and one serrated side.

The plastic handle has good grip and feels soft and comfortable in the hand. It goes into the ground smoothly with no jarring and the leverage removes stubborn weeds effortlessly.

Does the Fiskars Xact Extractor hand weeder perform well?

This weeder feels strong and solid and there’s no fear of it bending as you root out difficult weeds. It copes well with a lot of force and pressure when tackling established weeds and the combination of a long handle and long blade gives excellent leverage for tackling really long tap roots and deeply rooted weeds.
