What are the main features of the Felco 640 pruning saw?

The blade on this saw is curved and fixed and made from high-carbon steel with a chrome plating and impulse hardening. It has a 120mm cutting width and the teeth are angled so that it cuts on the pull stroke. The handle is curved and hooked at the end and it has a rubber-grip with a hanging hole for easy storage. It comes with a holster and belt hook.

This high quality saw feels light and well balanced and it sits comfortably in the hand with the hooked handle ensuring there’s no slipping even when applying pressure. The blade cuts thick dense wood effortlessly, gliding easily with each stroke and there's no sticking or clogging. It also feels sturdy and strong. Although the blade doesn’t fold away into a pocket it sits snugly in its holster, where it’s held fast and this loops easily to your belt. For added security the Velcro strap wraps comfortably around the leg.
