Our five favourite plant pots from Crocus
Here are our top picks from Crocus' plant pot range:
Terracotta Citrus Pot
This terracotta citrus pot is classically designed and handmade in Turkey, especially for Crocus. Each one is crafted by a man called Argun and his son, who are third and fourth-generation potters. They use local clay from the Izmir region of Turkey, on the Aegean coast, to make the pots.
To suit British weather, each pot is fired at 1080 degrees to be as frost-resistant as possible for the colder months. The pots weigh in at around 16.5kg, however, with each being handmade and thrown, the weight and measurements can vary slightly, but the quality remains the same. The pot comes with a large drainage hole in the bottom.
Measurements: W50cm x H45cm x D25cm
Price: £74.99

Terracotta Flared Rim Pot
These pots are also handmade especially for Crocus by Argun and his son in Turkey, using local clay from the Izmir Region. They're a great choice for smaller spaces as they don't take up too much ground space and are instead tall and slender, with a flared rim.
They're brilliant for plants that prefer compacted roots like agapanthus, and plants which cascade over the edge such as ferns and smaller perennials will also look great in these pots. You can opt for a small, medium or large pot with the measurements and prices changing accordingly. Each one has also been fired at 1080 degrees to make it frostproof and is made with a drainage hole in the bottom.
Measurements: Small: W30cm x H30cm x D15.5cm. Medium: W40cm x H40cm. Large: W48cm x H50cm x D25.5cm.

Alternatively, you could keep the pot inside and use it for growing herbs, but remember to cover the drainage holes at the bottom. The bowl planter comes in two sizes.
