Veronica prostrata is a low-growing alpine speedwell, forming a fresh green carpet of foliage, from which long spikes of bright blue flowers appear in early summer. It's perfect for growing in a rockery or allowed to trail over a wall.

Grow Veronica prostrata in moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Cut back after flowering to maintain a compact habit, if desired. Divide congested clumps in spring or autumn.
