Tulips are popular spring-flowering bulbs, displaying masses of bold colours before the herbacoues plants swing into action in late-spring.
Tulipa 'Ballerina' is a fantastic tulip, bearing bright orange flowers with a delicate fragrance. It works well when grown in pots to be enjoyed in its own right, and also when planted with dark-coloured blooms, such as dark wallflowers or the contrasting wispy stems of sweet rocket.
For best results, plant Tulipa 'Ballerina' bulbs in late October and November, and water well before leaving for winter.
