Thalictrum delavayi is a pretty perennial. From mid-summer to early autumn, it produces airy clouds of lilac to white flowers. It's perfect for growing in a mixed herbaceous border and makes an excellent cut flower. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM).

Grow Thalictrum delavayi in moist soil in partial shade. To propagate, divide plants as soon as growth begins in spring.
