Sorbus 'Eastern Promise' is a lovely small tree, perfect for the small garden, with dark green leaves that turn deep purple and orange before falling in autumn. White flowers appear in spring, followed by heavy, dense clusters of pretty pink berries in autumn.

It's tolerant of a wide range of soils and aspects, but for best results grow in moist but well-drained soil, in full sun to partial shade. The Royal Horticultural Society has awarded Sorbus 'Eastern Promise' its prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
