Rosa 'John Innes' is a repeat-flowering shrub rose with dark green, healthy foliage. From late-spring to autumn it bears attractive, semi-double cherry red flowers with a pink-white centre and cream-yellow stamens, and a light fragrance.
It's the ideal choice for growing in a mixed herbaceous border, or even in a large container.
Mulch Rosa 'John Innes' once a year with well-rotted manure or compost, and prune back in February. To prolong flowering in summer, deadhead regularly and add a high potash feed every fortnight.
