Rosa 'Dorothy House' is a bushy, deciduous floribunda shrub rose with thorny stems. It was named after Doreen Constance Dorothy Elsie House of Bath.
It has pinnate, glossy, toothed leaves and bears clusters of highly fragrant, double, pale pink flowers from late spring into autumn. It's ideal for growing in conjunction with blue and yellow flowers in herbaceous borders, and may also be grown in a pot.
Like most roses, Rosa 'Dorothy House' grows well in a variety of soil types but does better if mulched with well-rotted manure or compost. Hard prune in February and help prolong flowering by deadheading regularly, and adding a high potash feed every fortnight in summer.
