Clay / Heavy / Moist / Well Drained / Light / Sandy
Rosa 'Compassion' is a repeat-flowering hybrid tea rose, bearing masses of fully double, apricot-pink flowers from July to September, in contrast with dark green, glossy foliage. It's idea for growing at the back of a sunny border, particularly if it can be trained against a wall. It's also perfect for growing up a pergola, where its intense fragrance can be better appreciated.
For best results grow Rosa 'Compassion' in fertile, moist, well-drained soil, in full sun. Plant it with contrasting dark-flowered plants to complement the light-coloured blooms. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to prolong flowering.
