Bulley's primrose, Primula bulleyana, is a semi-evergreen, spring-flowering perennial growing to 60cm. It bears rosettes of mid-green leaves and candelabra-shaped whorls of orange-yellow flowers, on erect stems. It's easy to grow and self-seeds readily.

For best results, grow bulley's primrose at the front of a mixed herbaceous border, among other spring-flowering plants including daffodils and crocus.
