Grow Penstemon 'Fujiyama Volcano' in full sun to partial shade, in moist but well-drained soil. In colder regions, you may need to offer protection in winter – apply a thick mulch of well-rotted manure or compost in autumn to protect the roots. Divide congested clumps in spring.
