Nymphaea 'Marliacea Albida' is a popular white-flowering water lily. It bears beautiful double white flowers with a deep yellow centre, from June to September. Its leaves provide a landing pad for thirsty honeybees, while offering shelter for aquatic wildlife beneath the surface. The shade cast from the leaves also helps to prevent the growth of algae.

Nymphaea 'Marliacea Albida' grows in water depths of 45-75cm, and is therefore suitable for growing in medium- to large-sized ponds. For best results grow in full sun and ensure the plant has plenty of room to spread. Remember that water lilies thrive in still water, so avoid planting near a fountain or pump.
