Grown for their flamboyant, often fragrant blooms from late-spring to summer, lilies are a stalwart of summer, herbaceous borders.

Lilies are well suited to growing in containers, where they can be positioned in borders as and when you need them.

Oriental lilies tend to have large, fragrant, outward-facing facing flowers. Because blooms of many oriental lilies appear to look upwards, they are sometimes referred to as ‘stargazers’.

Lilium ‘Nymph’ grows to a staggering height of up to 200cm, and bears large, strongly scented, pale lemon yellow flowers with a pink stripe along each petal. ‘Nymph’ is a gorgeous and popular lily, and is perfect for growing towards the back of a mixed herbaceous border. It makes a fantastic cut flower.
