Lathyrus odoratus 'Chelsea Centenary' was bred to mark the centenary of the Chelsea Flower Show in 2013. A multiflora type, it produces up to nine florets per stem, in a pretty pale lavender. Blooms have a traditional sweet pea scent. Plants will quickly cover a trellis or obelisk, and look fantastic in cut flower arrangements.
For best results, feed Lathyrus odoratus ‘Chelsea Centenary' fortnightly with a high-potash fertiliser, and deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
