Lacecaps and mopheads are the most commonly grown hydrangeas in our gardens. Mopheads have full, round heads of large petals, and lacecaps have flattish flower heads of large outer petals and tiny flowers in the centre.
Hydrangea macrophylla 'Adria' is a compact, mophead hydrangea with toothed, glossy dark green leaves and small flower heads. Flowers are blue if grown in acidic soil, or pink if grown in more alkaline soils.
‘Adria' is perfect for in a mixed herbaceous border or in a large pot on the patio.
