Lacecaps and mopheads are the most commonly grown hydrangeas in our gardens. Mopheads have full, round heads of large petals, and lacecaps have flattish flower heads of large outer petals and tiny flowers in the centre.
Hydrangea 'Libelle’ is a pretty lacecap hydrangea, bearing flattish, snow-white blooms in contrast with glossy green leaves. It’s perfect for growing in a mixed, herbaceous border, especially when used in conjunction with other hydrangeas.
