Heucheras are native to the woodlands of North America. They tend to grow in dense clumps and have brightly coloured foliage. They thrive in shade and make great groundcover plants. While plants are mainly grown for their foliage, inconspicuous flowers in summer add to their charm.

Heuchera ‘Sugar Plum’ has gorgeous deep plum-coloured leaves which develop a silvery sheen in winter. Sprays of pink flowers are borne on tall stems in summer. It's is a perfect choice for border displays, as well as growing in containers on a shady patio.

For best results grow Heuchera ‘Sugar Plum’ in moist but well-drained soil, in partial shade. Avoid growing in full sun, as this can lead to leaves withering and falling.
