Heucheras are native to the woodlands of North America. They tend to grow in dense clumps and have brightly coloured foliage. They thrive in shade and make great groundcover plants. While plants are mainly grown for their foliage, inconspicuous flowers in summer add to their charm.
Heuchera ‘Spellbound’ has incredible, silver-purple leaves, which develop more of a silver sheen when plants are grown in shade. White flowers are borne on tall stems in summer. ‘Spellbound’ is a perfect choice for border displays, as well as in containers on a shady patio. For best results avoid growing in full sun, as this can lead to leaves withering and falling.
