Heucheras are native to the woodlands of North America. They tend to grow in dense clumps and have brightly coloured foliage. They thrive in shade and make great groundcover plants. While plants are mainly grown for their foliage, inconspicuous flowers in summer add to their charm.

With leaves the colour of root beer, it’s no surprise how Heuchera ‘Root Beer’ got its name. Cream flowers contrast with the orange-red foliage in early summer. Heuchera ‘Root Beer’ is perfect for growing in a mixed herbaceous border, and also works well when grown in containers.
