Heucheras are native to the woodlands of North America. They tend to grow in dense clumps and have brightly coloured foliage. They thrive in shade and make great groundcover plants. While plants are mainly grown for their foliage, inconspicuous flowers in summer add to their charm.

Heuchera ‘Electra’ has large, lobed leaves which emerge a bright yellow with red veins, and fade to bright green with maturity. Leaves become orange-yellow in winter.

For best results, remove faded leaves of ‘Electra’ and deadhead spent flowers.
