Clay / Heavy / Moist / Well Drained / Light / Sandy
Heliopsis helianthoides var. scabra 'Sunburst', is a variety of ox eye, an attractive group of plants that has been sadly neglected in recent years. Their bright yellow, daisy-like flowers were out of place in trendy pastel borders, but that now looks set to change with hot colours coming back into vogue.
Heliopsis helianthoides var. scabra 'Sunburst' produces variegated foliage. Grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Divide congested clumps every three to five years.
