Heleniums add impact to the late summer and early autumn border, with their daisy-like red and yellow flowers. Heleniums aren't too fussy, and thrive in most soils with good drainage. Their blooms provide a late source of nectar and pollen for pollinators.

Helenium 'Wyndley' is one of the shortest varieties, and one of the earliest to bloom. Flowers are borne on stiff sturdy stems, and come in a warm yellow, with a lovely darker central head. It makes an excellent cut flower.

For best results grow Helenium 'Wyndley' in moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Don’t allow the soil to dry out. Deadhead blooms to prolong flowering and divide congested clumps in autumn or spring.
