Gladiolus 'Blue Mountain' is a superb variety, bearing bright blue flowers on tall, erect stems. It's ideal for growing in a mixed herbaceous border, among lighter coloured blooms, and makes an excellent cut flower.

Grow Gladiolus 'Blue Mountain' in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Not fully hardy, plants benefit from a thick mulch in autumn to protect the corms from frost. In northern or exposed areas, it's a good idea to lift the corms to overwinter indoors.
