Geum 'Roger's Rebellion'
Geums are familiar favourites in herbaceous borders, although they also work well in larger rock gardens, forming dense clumps of attractive foliage. They need a little space for their flowers, which tend to be produced on long, spreading stems.
Geum 'Roger's Rebellion' bears unusual dark red stems and buds, which open to deep raspberry coloured flowers with cream undertones. These gradually fade to pink. It's perfect for growing in a sunny or partially shaded border, and makes an excellent cut flower.
For best results, grow Geum 'Roger's Rebellion' in a cooler part of the garden, in well-drained soil. Divide plants every two to three years.
