Geranium cinereum 'Ballerina' is a compact hardy geranium, forming a neat cushion of foliage from which bowl shaped pale pink flowers with heavy mauve-pink veining appear in summer. It's perfect for growing in a rock or gravel garden and looks superb grouped with bulbous oat grass, Arrhenatherum elatius ssp. bulbosum 'Variegatum', which has short green and cream variegated foliage. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM).

Grow Geranium cinereum 'Ballerina' in moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Don't let the soil become waterlogged.
