Native to South Africa, gazanias create a stunning show in a hot, sunny position in the garden. Their dramatic daisy-like blooms come in shades of rose, red, pink, bronze, gold and orange and are set off by cool green foliage. In dull weather, the blooms close their petals but they soon put on a bright show again as soon as the sunshine returns.

Gazania 'Tiger Stripes' has bright yellow and orange-striped blooms. It's perfect for using in a tropical container display with other fiery coloured flowers, as well as in the border to fill gaps.

Grow Gazania 'Tiger Stripes' in well-drained soil in full sun. Feed fortnightly with potash-rich fertiliser and deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering. Bring pots indoors to overwinter if desired.
