Echinaceas have grown in popularity in recent years, thanks to the new trend for prairie-style planting. They're easy to grow as they tolerate most soils, and their sturdy nature means that staking is unnecessary.

Echinacea 'Aloha' bears lovely yellow flowers, with an orange central cone from summer into autumn. It’s extremely attractive to bees and other pollinators, and makes excellent cut flower. Grow in drifts through the centre of the border, with ornamental grasses or in large containers, in full sun.
