Dahlia 'Twynings Candy' is a delightful dahlia, bearing pretty pink-and-white-striped single flowers over mounds of dark green-purple foliage, from midsummer to the first frosts. It's ideal for growing in a mixed herbaceous border, or as a feature in its own right in a pot on the patio.
For best results, grow Dahlia 'Twynings Candy' in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Deadhead regularly and feed with a potash-rich fertiliser to prolong flowering. Lift tubers after the first frosts and store them in a cool, dry situation until March, and then pot them up and keep them in a temperate greenhouse before planting out in late May.
