The Topmix series of dahlias are all low-growing, single-flowered floriferous and bushy plants. Dahlia 'Topmix Yellow' bears pretty, single yellow flowers above dark green foliage. Flowers last throughout summer and well into autumn.

Due to their low-growing habit, Topmix dahlias are ideal for growing in pots on the patio, and at the front of the border. They don't need staking.

For best results, grow Dahlia 'Topmix Yellow' in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Deadhead regularly and feed with a potash-rich fertiliser to prolong flowering. Lift tubers after the first frosts and store them in a cool, dry situation until March. Then pot them up and keep them in a temperate greenhouse before planting out in late May.
