Dahlia 'Kenora Challenger' is a tall-growing, semi-cactus dahlia, with large, bright white spiky blooms. It's ideal for growing in a mixed herbaceous border, where its flowers will bring out the colours of other blooms. It's also excellent for cutting.
For best results, grow Dahlia 'Kenora Challenger' in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Stake plants early on to protect blooms, and deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. Lift tubers after the first frosts and store them in a cool, dry situation until March. Then pot them up and keep them in a temperate greenhouse before planting out in late May.
