Dahlia 'Julie One'

Dahlias originate from Mexico and Guatemala where they produce single flowers. Enthusiasts in Europe in the 18th century bred many different forms, which now produce blooms that range from 5cm to 30cm in diameter.

Dahlia 'Julie One' bears double orchid blooms in soft peach. They make an excellent cut flower and are also suitable for exhibition. Grow in open ground or containers in fertile, moist but well-drained soil, in full sun. Dig up the tubers in November or move pots indoors to over winter, before replanting the following spring.
