Cymbidiumorchids are some of the easiest houseplants to grow. They bear pretty flowers in a range of colours, over a long period.
For best results grow Cymbidium orchids in a well-lit room away from direct sunlight. Cymbidiums prefer cooler growing conditions than other orchid varieties, and to flower well they require a distinct drop in temperature between day and night from mid- to late summer. It is possible to transfer cymbidiums outdoors in summer, but do keep them out of direct sunlight to prevent leaf scorch.
During the growing season, water regularly and feed every three weeks. In winter, water sparingly.
