Daisy-like cosmos flowers are easy-to-grow and versatile annuals. They can be used to plug gaps in borders, grown as a feature in their own right or as part of a container display. The flowers attract a variety of bees, butterflies and hoverflies, and also make a good cut flower.
Cosmos bipinnatus 'Fizzy Pink' is a superb, tall, eye-catching annual, with flowers in strong colours ranging from white to carmine. It's excellent for cutting and makes a very attractive pot plant for summer flowering in a cold greenhouse.
For best results grow Cosmos bipinnatus 'Fizzy Pink' in moist but well-drained soil, in full sun. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage repeat-flowering.
