Tickseed, Coreopsis verticillata, is an herbaceous perennial native to North America. Easy to grow, in summer and autumn it bears bright yellow flowers that stand out against fine, fern-like foliage.
Coreopsis 'Uptick Cream and Red' has large, cream flowers with a deep burgundy central patch and large yellow eye. Flowering from summer through to autumn, it’s a magnet for bees and other pollinators. It’s perfect for growing at the front of a sunny border or in a container, and makes an excellent cut flower.
For best results, grow Coreopsis 'Uptick Cream and Red' in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil, though it will perform better in full sun.
