Named after a Cornish village and tin mine, Clematis 'Poldice' is a vigorous, shade-tolerant clematis, bearing a profusion of large, nodding, violet-blue flowers with a white centre and green stamens, throughout summer.
Clematis 'Poldice' is perfect for growing up an obelisk or trellis in partial shade, and may even be grown in a container. It falls into Pruning Group Three. Simply cut stems back to the lowest pair of buds in February or March.
