Clematis 'Picardy' is a compact dwarf clematis, bearing attractive, dusky red flowers with a centre of dark brown anthers. It flowers intermittently from early to mid-summer.

It's well suited to growing in containers and in small gardens and patios. Grow Clematis 'Picardy' up an obelisk or trellis, or up a rose arch with a compact climbing rose.

Flowering from May to July, Clematis 'Picardy' falls into Pruning Group Two. There's no real need to prune, but you may wish to tidy up stems in spring.
