Sweet peppers, or bell peppers, are easy to grow as long as they are given a long growing season and plenty of warm summer sunshine. The fruit are green when immature but turn brilliant colours as they develop. Capsicum annum 'Redskin' is a compact sweet pepper, ideal for growing on a windowsill or in pots on the patio. The medium-sized shiny green fruit turns brilliant red as it matures.

Capsicum annum 'Mohawk' has small fruit which matures to a sweet, yellow-orange, and is easy to grow. It's perfect for growing in pots or growing bags on the patio. Pick the fruit regularly to ensure continuous cropping.

For best results grow Capsicum annum 'Mohawk' indoors, such as on a sunny windowsill, or outside in a sunny, sheltered spot.
